Admissions
Like all schools in the area, we are limited to the amount of children we are allowed to accept in each year group, at New Road this is 30 pupils. Our new reception intake has been increasing year on year, but over time some families may leave the area and this can create spaces in some year groups.
If you are looking for a school in Sowerby Bridge please call our school office team at New Road on 01422 831351. We will be happy to discuss potential places in year groups and answer any questions you may have. You are also very welcome to arrange an appointment with the Headteacher so you can come and look around our wonderful school.
New Reception Intake for September
If you have a child who is due to start school in September we encourage you to call us and arrange a convenient time to visit New Road along with your child. It's a great opportunity to see the children and teachers at work in the classrooms and become familiar with our school environment. We work closely with many of of the local pre school providers and offer lots of transition opportunities for the children in the Summer Term before they start school.
